Agro-fair of vacancies at the Academy
January 24, 2024 on the basis of EE «Vitebsk Order «Badge of Honour» State Academy of Veterinary Medicine» took place «Agro-Fair of Vacancies – 2024», which was organized by SEE «Secondary School 29 named after V. V. Pimenova». The event was attended by students of 9-11 agrarian classes of schools of Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk and their representatives of educational institutions.
The registration of the participants and official part of the event, accompanied by concert numbers took place at the Academy House of Culture.
In the hall the volunteers of the Academy welcomed guests and participants of the event, who were treated with sweets and hot tea from Russian samovars.
The guests were addressed by the representatives of the organizations: the head of the sector of organizational and personnel work of the Committee of Agriculture and Food of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Sosnovskaya E.G., management of the branch of AP «Mazolovogaz» UC «Vitebskoblgaz» and JSC «Vitebsk Meat and Processing Plant», as well as representatives of EE «Gorodok State Agricultural and Technical College» and Agrarian College of EE «Vitebsk Order «Badge of Honour» State Academy of Veterinary Medicine». The Head of the Department of International Cooperation, Career Guidance and Pre-university Training Solovyov A.V. presented the academy.
Representatives of educational institutions informed students about all specialties, the peculiarities of the educational process and admission rules. The students had the opportunity to ask questions and get advice on the choice of profession and future profession. Information materials, locations of educational institutions and vocational guidance booklets were also presented.
Holding job fairs for students of general secondary education institutions gives the opportunity to approach the important choice of future profession and «Agro-fair of vacancies – 2024» has added confidence in the children’s choice!
