Introductory practice of 1st year students (SPECIALTY “VETERINARY PHARMACY”)
From 23st of September to 4th of October 2019, students during introduction training visited Vitebskvodokanal UE, Rubicon LLC, VetMediaService TUE, Animal Health Vik, BelVitunifarm OJSC, Vitebsk Plant UE veterinary preparations”, Unitary Enterprise“ Vitebsk zoovetsnab ” and veterinary pharmacies of Vitebsk.
During the excursions, students studied the processes of extraction, purification, settling and distribution of drinking water, got acquainted with the main technological processes in the production of non-sterile medicines, visited the production lines of tablets, non-sterile solutions and suppositories, the quality control department of medicines, participated in the manufacturing process of anti-mastitis drugs (assembly of syringes for their subsequent filling). Students attended retail sales of various veterinary products to pet owners on the recommendations of veterinarians.
During the course of study practice, 1st year students had the opportunity to introduce themselves as a future pharmacist and get a lot of impressions and positive emotions from their chosen specialty.
