A meeting of the Board of VSAVM
On February 20, 2020, a meeting of the Academy’s Board was held.
Without changing the tradition, the meeting began with a pleasant issue : Mikalai Haurychenka, the Rector, presented the deserved awards to the Academy’s employees:
Anastasia Minich was awarded the Diploma of the winner of the Competition for the Best Dissertation in 2019 in the category “Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences” ;
Certificate of Associate Professor in the specialty “Veterinary Medicine” was awarded to Yulia Stolyarova;
The honorary Diploma of the Vitebsk regional Trade Union Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union detatchment of agricultural workers was awarded to Elena Yevgenievna Lebedeva, Larisa Vladimirovna Shulga, and Lyubov Leonidovna Stepanova;
8 issues were on the agenda.
The report was made by the Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology Vishnevets Andrey Vasilyevich.
Alexey Petrovich Demidovich, responsible officer for research affairs , reported on the state of research work among students.
Deans Yushkovsky Yevgeny Alexandrovich and Vishnevets Andrey Vasilyevich made a request to awarding scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus to students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnological Faculty.
Vladimir Zhurba, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, reported on the work of clinics, vivarium and the availability of animals for the educational process.
Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Alexander Solovyov told introduced the procedure for admission of persons for obtaining a higher education of the second stage (master’s degree) in 2020.
Andrey Kozlov reported on the annual report on the functioning of the quality management system.
The Council unanimously recommended that the State Committee for Science and Technology should award the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus 2020 in the field of science and technology “the Development, production and use of new forms of complex mineral fertilizers in the Republic of Belarus”to the group of authors: Vitaliy Lapa V, Tsyganov Alexander, Pirogovskaya Galina, Chernyakov Dmitriy, Dormeshkin Oleg.
