ROUND TABLE «INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF BELARUS AND UZBEKISTAN IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF VETERINARY SPECIALISTS AND INTEGRATION OF VETERINARY SCIENCE INTO PRODUCTION»

November 6, 2024 within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Vitebsk Academy of Veterinary Medicine, a round table «International cooperation of Belarus and Uzbekistan in professional development of veterinary specialists and integration of veterinary science into production» was held.

Special guest of honor – Safarov Alisher, the head of the General Department of Science and Education of the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The round table was attended by the Vice-Rector for ideological and educational work Fedotov Dmitry Nikolaevich, the Vice-Rector for science Darovskih Svetlana Viktorovna, as well as teachers, students and master students.

The purpose of the round table is to develop joint scientific and methodological ideas and opportunities within the framework of Belarusian-Uzbek relations in improving the qualification of veterinary specialists.

During the meeting, both sides expressed their desire and readiness for closer cooperation and further negotiations, stressing the importance of joint integration of veterinary science into production.

The atmosphere of the round table was warm and friendly; the prospects of cooperation between our countries in the field of agricultural education were discussed.

The participants of the round table stressed the need for permanent contact between interested audiences and further joint work in this area.
